USAFL LOOKS FORWARD TO FIRST EVER

GREEN NATIONALS TOURNAMENT

The USAFL is excited to announce that the 2008 USAFL NATIONALS will be our first green nationals. Working with our major sponsor, Coopers Beer –  (The most environmentally friendly brewery in the southern hemisphere) we will endeavor to drastically reduce our effect on the environment compared with past years. This seems appropriate as we be playing under the shadows of the majestic Colorado Rockies in Colorado Springs. Attendees will have the option to donate money to wind power, offsetting their carbon footprint. Ultimately, the USAFL has the lofty goal of running carbon neutral national championships. The Nationals organizing committee wishes to personally thank Tom Ellis from Denver for being the inspiration behind this initiative.

The weekend will see 1,000 players, officials and support staff compete for the title of best in the USA over October 11th and 12th, at the amazing fields at the United States Airforce Academy Athletic Fields.

Below is all the booking information for hotels and rental car information.

Additional information such as area attractions, detailed directions, medical centers, ability for teams to pre-order (and receive at hotel) items such as fruit, power bars, sports drinks, medical equipment etc. will follow shortly.

Everyone involved with the organizing of the USAFL National Championships wishes to welcome everyone in advance to what promises be a phenomenal nationals,
